  I love coming to Hanami when I am visiting my friends and family in Morgan Hill. Janet is the owner and she is so kind and wonderful, and really takes the time to make sure that everyone is getting the best experience possible. The service does get slow on busy weekend nights, but that is to be expected when the place is so packed! Your best bet if you are looking for a quick meal is to come at lunch time or on a week night.
  
  The best appetizers I love to get are the jalapeño poppers, the salmon skin handroll, miso soup, and mixed tempura. For rolls, my favorites are caterpillar roll, dragon roll, golden CA roll, crunch roll and rainbow roll. the rolls are always so fresh and carefully made, and there is always a good balance of rice to sushi, which is often what I find many other plaes haven't gotten down very well. The udon here is also very good!
  
  I will always continue to come back here. Each time I have a wonderful experience. The green tea here is also amazing - and free! Enjoy :)

  Was eating here today & the food was good but there was a couple things odd about this place. Some lady kept coming in and out of the restaurant throughout the night, my family & i were concerned. We were there for a while trying to enjoy our food. By the way, the Spicy Josh roll is good
  
  I also went to the bathroom and waiting in line. the lady in there came out smelling like alcohol (which is fine because they serve sake) and only to come and realize that she was a worker there. A worker!!!! She was wearing a yellow shirt. What kind of restaurant is this. This was our favorite place to eat. And if employees are going to be drunk then i don't want for them to be handling my food. Who knows if she even washed her hands , disgusting...
  the owner needs to do something about this, i was reading other reviews and stumbled upon other bad review. Seems like she isn't paying attention to what the people have to say about her work place. How sad  good food, nice waitress but the other , they need improvements

  This sushi place is the best sushi place I ever been to. We have moved to Morgan hill 3 years ago and this has been are sushi spot ever since. The owner who is the lady always remember my name and my  meal.  Love how she takes the time to remember all her customers names that pretty amazing. Best sushi and the best service.

  I had crazy roll and lemon crush. Super dry and nothing special. Like the other reviewer said this is Safeway quality.

  My husband & I came here for the first time and we are so glad we did! It was delicious and the service was amazing! We got gyoza and a California roll as appetizers; and we each got a bento box or "dinner special". Super delish!
